WITH LAURA-DEE QUINN from
Wow I can’t believe we’re into September already! This year has been the quickest and craziest year of my life so far. My little girl turned three (I have no idea where that time went) and my little boy just turned one! On top of juggling kids, I’ve been building a brand-new salon and training school…
So you can imagine once I get my kids into bed, do I have the time to use all those lotions and potions?
Here is some information on the products that I do use that help me cheat my way to looking younger for longer – enjoy!
Anti-Ageing Must Have’s I think every woman if they are completely honest with themselves would love to stay looking as young as possible for as long as they can – that’s what keeps me in a job!
Over the years I’ve worked with lots of different skincare lines that have their own little secrets to keeping the skin young and healthy. The best I’ve come across in regards to real, results driven affects are Vitamin C and Vitamin A. The difference between them are quite significant but used together, they hold the special antidote to being able to truly reverse the signs of premature ageing.
Vitamin C Used in the morning, this amazing ingredient helps fight free radicals that can potentially destroy the skins cells. It works as a catalyst to protect and support healthy cells by wrapping them up (like a baby) and stopping any nasty elements that can potentially defect them and stop them working to their true potential (which is to keep the skin looking plump).
REMEMBER –always use a sunscreen that’s got an SPF30+ on the skin when using Vitamin C products
Vitamin A Used at night, vitamin A or Retinol which it is sometimes referred to, increases the cellular turnover within the skin. This is very important as when we get older our cellular turnover slows down dramatically causing fine lines and wrinkles to appear. By increasing this turnover you are constantly removing old cells that are past their shelf life, therefore leaving room for new cells to be pushed to the surface. Skin will appear brighter, softer and healthier within 2 weeks!
ALWAYS take your therapists advice when using Vitamin A products as these products need to be followed by a strict homecare regime
